Accepting these terms
By accessing the Echoing Shards website or playing any available preview, demo, or game build, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
If you are under the age at which you can enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you.

The service
Echoing Shards is a dark-fantasy collectible card game currently presented as a pre-release experience. Features, cards, progression, availability, and system requirements may change as the game develops.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service when needed for development, security, maintenance, or legal reasons. We do not promise that a preview build will always be available or that progress from a preview will carry into a later release.

Fair play and conduct
You may use the service only for personal, non-commercial entertainment and in accordance with applicable law. You agree not to:
- cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, or interfere with fair matchmaking;
- reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the service;
- harass others, impersonate another person, or share unlawful or abusive material;
- trade, sell, or transfer access, virtual items, or accounts unless we expressly allow it.

Accounts and access
The current website does not offer public player accounts. If accounts become available, you will be responsible for accurate registration information, the security of your credentials, and activity performed through your account.
We may restrict or end access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, the service is being harmed, or action is required to protect players or comply with law.

Intellectual property
Echoing Shards, its world, characters, artwork, card designs, text, software, audio, logos, and other game materials are owned by or licensed to the Echoing Shards team and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access the service for personal use. They do not transfer ownership of the service or its content to you.

Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, Echoing Shards will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

We may revise these terms as the game evolves. The updated date at the top shows when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be presented through the website or game where reasonably possible.
